Method: Move for Areas

Moves an area in DIAdem VIEW and splits the specified target area in the same worksheet. Use the MoveArea for Sheet method to move an area to another worksheet. Use the CopyArea for Sheet or the Copy for Areas method to move an area.

Specifies the name or the index of the area DIAdem moves.
TargetAreaNameOrIndexVariant
Specifies the name or index of the target area.
enumSplitDirectionLongInteger

Specifies the relative position of the moved area to the target area.

RatioDouble
Specifies the split ratio for values from 0 to 1. The split ratio is the part of the original area which the moved area occupies. If the split ratio is 0.25, the moved area takes up a quarter of the original area.

Returned object of the moved area.

The following example moves the first area to the right of the second area in the active worksheet. The moved area occupies one quarter of the target area.
