The TestStand Deployment Utility copies most files unmodified from the source directory to the image directory when you create a deployment. However, the deployment utility makes changes to some LabVIEW-based code modules and TestStand sequence files to ensure the files run correctly on the test station computer.

Enable the Include without Processing Item or Dependencies option on the Distributed Files tab of the deployment utility to force the deployment utility to copy the files unmodified from the source folder to the image folder, which can be appropriate when you include the following types of files in a deployment:

  • Files with an associated checksum
  • VIs compiled in a LabVIEW version other than the active version of LabVIEW
  • Files you do not want the deployment utility to modify, such as LabVIEW user interface source files or support files
  • LabVIEW NXG GLL binaries
