Aggregation is the statistical averaging of values recorded over time to acquire a single and representative value for the total time period. Aggregation is useful for the evaluation of power quality across a large electrical power system. Because a large electrical power system usually contains constant disturbance levels over short intervals, you use aggregation to acquire representative values instead of recording all the data over time. Aggregation can also reduce the amount of data that you need to store for a long period of time.

Use this book to learn about methods for aggregating power quality data that you can analyze with the LabVIEW Electrical Power Toolkit.
