NeoDB for PostgreSQL è un componente aggiuntivo software per LabVIEW che fornisce le funzionalità necessarie per comunicare con i database PostgreSQL tramite TCP/IP invece di utilizzare un driver ODBC (Open Database Connectivity). È possibile inviare Select, Update, Delete, Update, Move, Fetch, Copy, Create Table e altri comandi al proprio database PostgreSQL. Il componente aggiuntivo supporta SCRAM, MD5, testo in chiaro e crittografia affidabile per le password degli utenti. È inoltre possibile utilizzare NeoDB for PostgreSQL su target NI in tempo reale compatibili con LabVIEW Real-Time Module in esecuzione su sistemi operativi PharLap, VxWorks o NI Linux Real-Time.
