This document contains the LabVIEW Desktop Execution Trace Toolkit known issues that were discovered before and since the release of LabVIEW Desktop Execution Trace Toolkit 2025 Q1. Details

Launching DETT from start button after fresh installation & reboot of LabVIEW 32-bit is throwing exception.

After installing LabVIEW 32-bit, launching the LabVIEW Desktop Execution Toolkit (DETT) from the Start menu triggers an exception. This issue occurs inconsistently and does not impact core LabVIEW functionality.

Prerequisites:

Installer:\\in-ban-argo.natinst.com\ni\nipkg\feeds\ni-l\ni-labview-2025-x86\25.3.0\25.3.0.271-0+d271
OS: Win 10 32 bit.
Steps to Reproduce:

 

1.Install LabVIEW 32 bit .
2.Go to Start button , and click on LabVIEW Desktop Execution toolkit.
3.Observe it throws below exception.

Workaround:

A straightforward resolution is to relaunch or activate LabVIEW, which allows DETT to function as expected.
