Convert RTG list mode files from the Legacy format to Basic, Range-Velocity, or Time-Frequency CSV formats.
- Migrate Legacy files to a current type (Basic, Range-Velocity, or Time-Frequency)
- Convert between any of the current file types
- Change the number of targets per line during conversion
- Load the source file.
- In the Convert section, confirm or change the destination path. By default, the List Mode Utility suggests the same folder as the source file with a filename that reflects the new type—for example, targets_time_frequency.csv.
- Choose the Target Type (Basic, Range‑Velocity, or Time‑Frequency).
- Set Targets/Line if you want to change the number of targets per line.
- Choose whether to include Column Headers and Comments.
- If required, enter a Center Frequency. See the following section for more information.
- Decide whether to Keep source file, which is checked by default. If unchecked, the source file is deleted after the new file is successfully validated.
- Click Convert.
Center Frequency
A Center Frequency value is required only when the source and target types express target motion differently (frequency shift versus velocity), and the conversion needs a translation. This field appears only when it is needed. The default value is 5.5 GHz, and units are always in GHz. This field accepts high-resolution values up to 54 GHz with 1 Hz resolution—for example, 54.000000000 GHz.
Editing Comments During Conversion
If the source file contains comments, the List Mode Utility extracts these comments and places them in an editable Notes area. Before converting, you can modify, add, or remove these comments. The edited comments are written to the top of the output file, each line prefixed with #.
