Use this report to determine how parts of your organization used managed concurrent licenses. This report shows how many hours each portion of your organization used each license, so that you can allocate costs accordingly.

Complete the following steps to create a license allocation report:

  1. Launch NI Volume License Manager and select Reports » License Allocation (Concurrent).
  2. In the Date Range section, select a start and end date.
  3. In the Report Parameters section, select the custom field on which you want to base cost allocation.
  4. In the Actions section, click Generate Report.
  5. (Optional) In the Actions section, click Export Report and select a format to export the report. Refer to Exporting Reports for more information.

More information about the report:

  • Usage by clients that do not have a custom field value specified is displayed as "(Blank)".
  • Clients always reflect their current custom field value. For example, if a client's department changes during the year, its usage counts against its new department for the entire year.
Note Only licenses that have been checked out at least once during the specified time period appear in this report.
