Use this report to determine how clients use a specified license. This report shows how many hours each client used the specified license.

Complete the following steps to create a license activity report:

  1. Launch NI Volume License Manager and select Reports » License Activity.
  2. In the Date Range section, select a start and end date.
  3. In the Report Parameters section, select the license you want to examine.
  4. In the Actions section, click Generate Report.
  5. Select data in the grid to display it in the chart.
  6. (Optional) In the Actions section, click Export Report and select a format to export the report. Refer to Exporting Reports for more information.

The report includes the following information:

  • All clients that used the specified license during the specified time period
  • Any clients that had permission to the specified license during the specified time period but did not use it
Note Activity for unmanaged concurrent licenses is displayed by username.
