The LabVIEW Adapter provides detailed information about broken VIs when used with the LabVIEW 2018 or later run-time engine. The error information is displayed in the error tooltip in the Step Settings Pane and when you execute the step.

Detailed information about the error is also logged into a text file, named the same as the VI name configured in the TestStand step. The log file is saved to the TestStand temp directory (<TestStand_Temp>), which in in the TestStand subdirectory in the directory the TEMP environment variable specifies, which by default is %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp.
