Complete the following steps to deploy a type palette file.

  1. Add the type palette file to the TestStand workspace you want to deploy or copy the type palette file to the directory you want to deploy.
  2. On the Distributed Files tab of the TestStand Deployment Utility, click the Analyze Source Files button to verify that the type palette file appears in the list of files to deploy.

Type palette files are normally located in the <TestStand Public>\Components\TypePalettes directory. Complete the following steps to set the type palette file destination to this directory.

  1. Select the type palette file.
  2. Select TestStand Public Documents Directory for the Installation Destination option.
  3. Enter Components\TypePalettes for the Installation Destination Subdirectory option.
