The TestStand Version Selector does not treat 32-bit TestStand and 64-bit TestStand as separate product versions. However, 32-bit TestStand and 64-bit TestStand use separate <Program Files>, <TestStand Public>, and <TestStand Application Data> directories and therefore use independent settings, such as station options.

Use the TestStand Version Selector to select the active TestStand version and click the Launch 32-bit button to launch the 32-bit TestStand Sequence Editor or click the Launch 64-bit button to launch the 64-bit TestStand Sequence Editor. Microsoft Windows Explorer uses the same bitness version of the sequence editor you last launched to open sequence files and other TestStand files. The TestStand File Diff and Merge utility also matches the bitness of the sequence editor you last launched.

When you make a previous TestStand version active, the TestStand Version Selector deactivates the current 32-bit TestStand and 64-bit TestStand. The Launch 64-bit button is dimmed when a previous version of TestStand is active.
