Import Options Tab

The Import Options tab contains the following options:

• Source Type —Specifies the type of the property loader source from which values are imported to TestStand properties.
• Source Location —Specifies location of the property loader source from which data will be imported to TestStand properties. If the property loader source is a file, this field specifies the file path. If the property loader source is a database, this field specifies the connection string.
• Import Values To —Specifies the target sequence to which values will be imported. Use the provided dropdown to select the correct target sequence.
  Note Select <Current Sequence> to import values to the current sequence and <All Sequences> imports values to all the sequences in the target sequence file.
• Import All Properties From Source —When you enable this option, TestStand ignores the selected property list and imports all properties from the property loader source.
• When Property Not Present In Source —Specifies the action performed when a property is not found in the source.
• When Property Not Present In Destination —Specifies the action performed when a property is not found in the sequence file.
  Note ‘Create Property’ requires property loader source to have the type information.
• Identify Steps By —Specifies the lookup to uniquely identify a step in the sequence file.
• Alias Location —Specifies the location of the alias. If property loader source is file, this specifies the location of alias file and if property loader source is database, this specifies the name of the alias table.
• Import Preview —Launches the Import Preview dialog box, which displays the preview of the changes for the target sequence file when performing an import from the current selected source.
