Select Configure Select in the context menu for the step or click Configure Select on the General tab of the Step Properties dialog box to launch the Configure Select dialog box from a TestStand User Interface .

The Configure Select dialog box contains the following options:

• Item to Compare —The expression that determines which Case block within the Select block executes.
• Case Sensitive (for string values) —Specifies whether to use a case-sensitive string comparison when the value for the step contains strings. The default value is OFF , or case-insensitive.
