The PWR and RDY LEDs, located on the module front panel, indicate the power and state of the module.

PWR LED

Off No power is present on the board.
Solid green The module is powered.
Blinking red
  • Missing supply voltage for the relays.
  • Identification problems of the daughter cards.
  • The communication between base board and daughter cards has failed.
Tip If the PWR LED remains off or blinking red, try the following suggestions to help troubleshoot your problem.
  • If the PWR LED is off:
    • Check the chassis power supply.
    • Check the fuse on the board and change the fuse if necessary.
  • If the PWR LED is blinking red:
    • Check the fuse on the board and change the fuse if necessary.
    • Initialize the base board without the daughter cards.

RDY LED

  • The module is not powered.
  • The module is not ready for use.
Solid green The module is recognized by the chassis and ready to communicate.
Amber The module is communicating with the chassis.
Tip If the RDY LED remains off or amber, try the following suggestions to help troubleshoot your problem.
  • If the RDY LED is off:
    • Check the chassis power supply.
    • Check the fuse on the board and change the fuse if necessary.
  • The RDY LED is amber and is not communicating with the chassis:
    • Shut down all operations and restart the chassis.
