Inputs/Outputs

  • cstr.png Selector String

Selector String specifies a selector string comprising of the signal name. If you do not specify the signal name, the default signal instance is used. The default value is "" (empty string).

    Examples:

    ""

    "signal::sig1"

You can use the RFmxEVDO Build Signal String VI to build the selector string.

  • cgenclassrntag.png Instrument Handle In

Instrument Handle In specifies the RFmx session refnum. Instrument Handle In is obtained from the RFmxInstr Initialize NIRFSA VI.

  • cdbl.png Center Frequency (Hz)

Center Frequency specifies the expected carrier frequency of the RF signal to acquire. This value is expressed in Hz. The RF signal analyzer tunes to this frequency. The default of this parameter is hardware dependent.

  • cdbl.png Reference Level

Reference Level specifies the reference level which represents the maximum expected power of an RF input signal. This value is expressed in dBm for RF devices and Vpk-pk for baseband devices. The default of this parameter is hardware dependent.

  • cdbl.png External Attenuation (dB)

External Attenuation specifies external attenuation to be considered by RFmx EV-DO measurements, such as the attenuation of a switch or cable connected to the RF signal analyzer RF IN connector.

For more information about attenuation, refer to the Attenuation and Signal Levels topic for your device in the NI RF Vector Signal Analyzers Help. The default value is 0.

  • cerrcodeclst.png error in (no error)

error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.

  • igenclassrntag.png Instrument Handle Out

Instrument Handle Out passes a reference to your RFmx session to the next VI.

  • ierrcodeclst.png error out

error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.
