Returns the measurement status and margin from the limit line measured in the lower offset segment.

Use "offset<n>" as the selector string to read parameters from this VI.

Inputs/Outputs

  • cstr.png Selector String

    Selector String specifies a selector string comprising of the signal name, result name, and offset number. If you do not specify the signal name, the default signal instance is used. If you do not specify the result name, the default result instance is used.

    Examples:

    "offset0"

    "signal::sig1/offset0"

    "result::r1/offset0"

    "signal::sig1/result::r1/offset0"

    You can use the RFmxCDMA2k Build Offset String VI to build the selector string.

  • cgenclassrntag.png Instrument Handle In

    Instrument Handle In specifies the RFmx session refnum. Instrument Handle In is obtained from the RFmxInstr Initialize NIRFSA VI.

  • cdbl.png Timeout (s)

    Timeout specifies the timeout for fetching the specified measurement. This value is expressed in seconds. Set this value to an appropriate time, longer than expected for fetching the measurement. A value of -1 specifies that the VI waits until the measurement is complete. The default value is 10.

  • cerrcodeclst.png error in (no error)

    error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.

  • idbl.png Margin Relative Power (dB)

    Margin Relative Power returns the power at which the margin occurred in the lower (negative) offset segment relative to the carrier absolute integrated power. This value is expressed in dB.

  • idbl.png Margin Absolute Power (dBm)

    Margin Absolute Power returns the power at which the margin occurred in the lower (negative) offset segment. This value is expressed in dBm.

  • igenclassrntag.png Instrument Handle Out

    Instrument Handle Out passes a reference to your RFmx session to the next VI.

  • ii32.png Measurement Status

    Measurement Status returns the lower offset measurement status based on measurement limits and the failure criteria specified by the standard.

    Fail (0) The measurement fails according to the measurement limits specified by this standard.
    Pass (1) The measurement passes according to the measurement limits specified by this standard.
  • idbl.png Margin (dB)

    Margin returns the margin from the limit mask value specified by the standard. This value is expressed in dB. Margin is defined as the minimum difference between the spectrum and the closest limit mask (absolute or relative).

  • idbl.png Margin Frequency (Hz)

    Margin Frequency returns the frequency at which the margin occurred in the lower (negative) offset. This value is expressed in Hz.

  • ierrcodeclst.png error out

    error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.
