Using NI-568x in LabVIEW

To develop an NI-568x application in LabVIEW, follow these general steps:

  1. Open an existing or new LabVIEW VI.
  2. From the Functions palette, locate the NI-568x VIs at Instrument I/O»Instrument Drivers»NI-568x.
  3. Select the VIs that you want to use and drop them on the block diagram to build your application.
Note   Refer to the LabVIEW Help for information about using the LabVIEW ADE.

Finding Example Programs

To access the NI-568x examples available in LabVIEW, select Help»Find Examples to launch NI Example Finder. You can find examples in two ways:

  • Select the Browse tab to locate examples by task at Hardware Input and Output»Modular Instruments»NI–568x (RF Power Meter) or by directory structure at instr»ni568x.
  • Select the Search tab to search all installed examples by keyword.
