Configuring Range

By default, USB-5681 devices use auto-ranging, which means that the sensor firmware determines the appropriate range for sensor operation. However, the USB-5681 also supports configuring a custom range for your device. To configure a custom range, complete the following steps:

1. Call the ni568x Configure Range Auto Enabled VI or the ni568x_ConfigureRangeAutoEnabled function and disable auto-ranging.
2. Use the ni568x Configure Range VI or the ni568x_ConfigureRange function to set upper and lower limits for the device range.
