Introduced in PAtools 7.0
The digital display shows the value of a variable in digital form. As with the circular or linear gauge, warning and shut-off limits can also be parameterized.
If the warning limits are exceeded the color of this lettering changes to the warning color. A bar in the warning color at the top of the digital display also refers to the warning status.
If shut-off limits are exceeded the color of this bar changes to the error color.
Defining a Variable
There are two ways to define the variable for display:
- Type the name of the variable directly into the input box for the title. A norm name selection list opens below the title and you can select the desired variable there.
- In the Properties dialog, define the name of the variable whose value will be displayed in the Variable field. The selection of this variable is automatically applied as the title for the instrument.
Customizing the Display
You can change the settings in the Properties dialog to customize the display of the instrument.
