Deploying System Images

Import and Export VIs

Use the Import VI to import system configuration data from a file into Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX.) Use the Export VI to export system configuration data from MAX into a file. MAX is not required to use these VIs. You can find both VIs on the Utilities subpalette.

Save and Load System Image

Use the Create System Image VI to save an image file or folder, which is a copy of the file contents set up on the primary hard drive of a system. Apply the image to a system using the Set System Image VI. You can find these VIs on the Software Management subpalette.
