Simulating an NI-RFSG Device

Simulate an NI-RFSG device using MAX to develop, modify, and/or test an application without hardware.
Note Simulation using MAX is
available only on PXIe-5611, PXI/PXIe-5650/5651/5652, and PXIe-5653.
To create and configure a simulated NI-RFSG device in MAX, complete the following steps:

Select Devices and Interfaces in the configuration tree, and
click Create New in the MAX toolbar.
The Create New dialog box opens.

Select Simulated NI-DAQmx Device or Modular Instrument, and
click Finish.
The Create Simulated NI-DAQmx Device dialog box opens.
- Expand RF Devices, and select the NI-RFSG device to simulate.

Click OK.
The NI-RFSG device appears in the MAX configuration tree with a yellow icon to indicate it is a simulated device.
