niFgen Initialize VI
Performs the following initialization actions:
Configuration
Use the NI-FGEN Configuration VIs to configure the analog and digital output, clocking, triggering and synchronization, and onboard signal processing of your signal generator.
Waveform Control
Use the NI-FGEN Waveform Control VIs to configure and control the generation of standard functions, arbitrary waveforms, arbitrary sequences, frequency lists, and scripts on your signal generator.
niFgen Close VI
Performs the following operations:
niFgen Initialize With Options VI
Performs the following initialization actions:
Utility
Use the NI-FGEN Utility VIs to control common instrument operations. These operations include many that VXIplug&play require, such as reset, self-test, revision query, and error message. This palette also contains VIs that create waveform data.
niFgen Property Node VI
The niFgen Property Node is used to set, get, or check properties.
Calibration
Use the NI-FGEN Calibration VIs to calibrate NI signal generators. Different signal generators use different calibration VIs. Refer to your signal generator calibration procedure for more information.
niFgen Initialize With Channels VI
Creates and returns a new NI-FGEN session to the specified channel of a waveform generator that is used in all subsequent NI-FGEN VI calls.
