Configures a series of voltage, current, resistance or power outputs and corresponding source delays. The source mode must be set to Sequence for this VI to take effect.

Use this VI in the Uncommitted or Committed programming states.

Support for this VI

Using this VI and Advanced Sequence VIs for the same channel in the same session is not supported.

Note NI-DCPower uses the terms "source" and "output". However, while sinking with electronic loads and SMUs these correspond to "sinking" and "input", respectively.

This VI is not supported by all devices. Refer to Supported VIs by Device for information about supported devices.

Inputs/Outputs

  • c1ddbl.png source delays

source delays specifies the source delay that follows the configuration of each value in the sequence.

The valid values are between 0 seconds and 167 seconds.

  • civrn.png instrument handle

instrument handle identifies a particular instrument session.

  • cstr.png channel name

channel name specifies to which channel(s) to apply this configuration value. Specify the channel(s) using the form PXI1Slot3/0,PXI1Slot3/2-3,PXI1Slot4/2-3 or PXI1Slot3/0,PXI1Slot3/2:3,PXI1Slot4/2:3, where PXI1Slot3 and PXI1Slot4 are instrument resource names and 0, 2, and 3 are channels.

  • c1ddbl.png values

values specifies the series of voltage, current, resistance or power levels, depending on the Output Function property.

The valid values for this parameter are defined by the voltage level range, current level range, constant resistance level range or constant power level range.

  • cerrcodeclst.png error in (no error)

error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.

  • iivrn.png instrument handle out

instrument handle out passes the handle used to identify the session in all subsequent NI-DCPower VI calls.

  • ierrcodeclst.png error out

error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.
