Returns an array of previously measured LCR data on the specified channel that have been taken and stored in a buffer.

Inputs/Outputs

  • civrn.png instrument handle

    instrument handle identifies a particular instrument session.

  • cstr.png channel name

    channel name specifies the channel from which to fetch data. You can only fetch data from one channel at a time.

    Specify the channel using the form PXI1Slot3/0, where PXI1Slot3 is the instrument resource name and 0 is the channel.

  • ci32.png count (1)

    count (1) specifies the number of measurements to fetch.

  • cdbl.png timeout (1.0)

    timeout (1.0) specifies the maximum time allowed for this VI to complete, in seconds. If the VI does not complete within this time interval, NI-DCPower returns an error.

    Note When setting the timeout interval, ensure you take into account any triggers so that the timeout interval is long enough for your application.
  • cerrcodeclst.png error in (no error)

    error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.

  • ii32.png actual count

    actual count indicates the number of measured values actually retrieved from the specified channel.

  • iivrn.png instrument handle out

    instrument handle out passes the handle used to identify the session in all subsequent NI-DCPower VI calls.

  • i1dcclst.png measurements

    measurements returns an array of LCR measurement data.

    V DC is the measured DC voltage, in volts.

  • idbl.png I DC

    I DC is the measured DC current, in amps.

  • idbl.png stimulus frequency

    stimulus frequency is the frequency of the LCR test signal, in Hz.

  • icdb.png AC voltage

    AC voltage is the measured AC voltage, in volts RMS.

  • icdb.png AC current

    AC current is the measured AC current, in amps RMS.

    Z is the complex impedance.

    Z magnitude is the magnitude of the complex impedance, in ohms.

    Cs is the capacitance, in farads, as measured using a series circuit model.

    Rs is the resistance, in ohms, as measured using a series circuit model.

    Lp is the inductance, in henrys, as measured using a parallel circuit model.

    Cp is the capacitance, in farads, as measured using a parallel circuit model.

    Rp is the resistance, in ohms, as measured using a parallel circuit model.

    D is the dissipation factor of the circuit.

    The dimensionless dissipation factor is directly proportional to how quickly an oscillating system loses energy. D is the reciprocal of Q, the quality factor.

    Q is the quality factor of the circuit.

    The dimensionless quality factor is inversely proportional to the degree of damping in a system. Q is the reciprocal of D, the dissipation factor.

  • iu16.png measurement mode

    measurement mode returns the measurement mode.

    The channel(s) are operating as a power supply/SMU.

    LCR (1062)

    The channel(s) are operating as an LCR meter.

    DC in compliance indicates whether the output was in DC compliance at the time the measurement was taken.
