Use this page to define the name of the IP Integration Node and the synthesis and simulation files the node uses.

Access this page by double-clicking the IP Integration Node. If the node is configured already, you can right-click the node and select Configure»Name and Source from the shortcut menu.

This page includes the following components:

Option Description
IP Name Specifies the name of the IP. This name appears on the icon of the IP Integration Node.
Note Do not use the same IP Name for more than one IP Integration Node. If you do use the same name for more than one IP Integration Node and generate a simulation model, LabVIEW displays a warning to prevent you from overwriting the simulation files of another node.
Source Displays the synthesis files that compose the IP and the simulation behavior that corresponds to each synthesis file.

Use the following buttons to manage the items in this table:

  • Add Syn File—Prompts you for a synthesis file to add to the IP Source table.
  • Def Sim Model—Launches the Set Simulation Behavior dialog box, which you use to change the simulation behavior of the selected synthesis file or exclude this file from simulation.
  • Set Top—Sets the selected synthesis file as the top-level file.
  • Remove—Removes the selected synthesis file from the IP Source table.
Feedback Displays warnings, errors, and configuration information.
