Configure Remote Compile Server Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to configure LabVIEW to connect to a remote compile server.
Note The LabVIEW FPGA Module includes the ability to offload compile jobs to dedicated computers. To create an on-site compile farm that has one or more compile workers that multiple developers can target, you can install the FPGA Compile Farm Server. Refer to the FPGA Module Readme for more information about installing the FPGA Compile Farm Server.
To access this dialog box, select Tools»Options to display the Options dialog box. Next, select FPGA Module from the Category list. Finally, select Connect to a network compile server.
| Option | Description |

| Compile servers | Displays a list of configured compile servers. Select a compile server from this list to specify which compile server LabVIEW uses.
Click the Add/Remove buttons to add and remove compile servers. |
| User name | Specifies the name of the account that you use to log into the remote compile server. The default is admin. If you cannot connect to the remote compile server using the default user name, contact the owner and request a valid user account.
Before you can configure the remote compile server, you must add the User name and Password to the list of user names with permission to compile FPGA VIs on the compile server. If you use the FPGA Compile Farm Server, any user that you add to the Users tab can compile VIs on the compile server. Select a compile server to enable this option. |
| Password | Specifies the password for the User name The default is blank. If you cannot connect to the remote compile server using the default password, contact the owner and request a valid user account. |
| Remember password | Specifies whether LabVIEW stores the password for this User name on this compile server. |
| Test Connection | Attempts to connect to the compile server and returns connection status. |
