Licensing a Development Add-on (Third Party Licensing & Activation Toolkit)

This topic contains instructions for licensing a development add-on that consists of files others can use when developing in LabVIEW. The Third Party Licensing & Activation Toolkit provides two options for licensing add-ons: standard licensing or advanced licensing.
The flow charts show the procedure for developing, licensing, and distributing an add-on using each option. Click an item to view instructions for completing that task.

| Use a single, streamlined tool in LabVIEW to create and apply a license with standard, predefined settings. You must have an Internet connection and an Instant SOLO Server account to use standard mode.

Use multiple tools that allow you to customize advanced licensing options, such as the length of the evaluation period. You must use a fully licensed version of Concept Software Protection PLUS to perform the advanced licensing procedure. (Optional) You need an Instant SOLO Server account to enable automated activation for licenses. |
