Guide to interactive control design process
This topic describes the Configuration page of the Interactive Control Design dialog box you access through the SISO Controller function or the CD Interactive Control Design VI. Use this page in conjunction with the following pages in the same interface to design and analyze a controller:
| Dialog Box Options |
Dialog Box Options
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Initial Models | Specifies which components to include in the system model. Select a component in this tree and use the options to the right to view its model equation and import a new model equation, if necessary. LabVIEW requires you to include a controller and a plant in the system model. |
| Name | Identifies the model you select in the Initial Models tree. The field below this text box draws a picture of the model equation you supply for the selected model.
The following buttons appear above the Name text box and allow you to import and export model information for the model you select in the Initial Models tree:
|
| Feedback Sign | Specifies whether the feedback connections are positive or negative. |
| Controller Topology | Displays the locations of controller-related models you select in the Initial Models tree. The system you represent in this display must match the system in which you want to implement the controller you design. |
