Windows Installation
Hardware Configuration Utility is installed with System Configuration software.
Some NI driver software also installs or prompts you to install Hardware Configuration Utility. If prompted, ensure that the NI Hardware Configuration Utility option is checked when installing NI software drivers.

Linux Installation
To install the Hardware Configuration Utility on Linux, first install a device driver repository registration package.
