Toolslib Controls Overview

LabWindows/CVI includes several instrument drivers that provide additional user interface functionality. You can use these drivers to add predefined custom controls to applications. These predefined custom controls, known as Toolslib controls, are located in the CVI\toolslib\ directory.

You can access commonly used Toolslib controls by selecting Create»Custom Controls»Toolslib Controls in the User Interface Editor. When you add a Toolslib control to a user interface and use CodeBuilder to generate code for the application, LabWindows/CVI loads the appropriate custom control instrument driver into the project.
