Add, delete, copy, or insert nodes to the PAtools PCU Configuration tree.

Adding a Node

The following options are available to add a node to the tree structure:

  • In the icon bar, click +.
  • Select Edit » Add item.
  • In the context menu, click Add item.
  • Use the following key combination: Ctrl + Shift + N

Deleting a Node

The following options are available to delete a node from the tree structure:

  • In the icon bar, click X.
  • Select Edit » Delete.
  • In the context menu, click Delete.
  • Press Del.

You cannot undo deleting a node. If you accidentally delete a node, close PAtools PCU Configuration without transferring your changes to the PXI controller. Then, restart the program.

Copying a Node

The following options are available to copy a node in the tree structure:

  • In the icon bar, click the document icon.
  • Select Edit » Copy.
  • In the context menu, click Copy.
  • Use the following key combination: Ctrl + C.

Inserting a Node

The following options are available to insert a node in the tree structure:

  • In the icon bar, click the clipboard icon.
  • Select Edit » Paste.
  • In the context menu, click Paste.
  • Use the following key combination: Ctrl + V.
