In the license manager, you can update the real-time licenses for PXI controllers running a QNX operating system.

Before you begin, ensure you are authorized for the license you are requesting.
  1. Create a license request.
    1. Click Tools » License Manager.
      The License Manager window opens.
    2. Click Create License Request.
      A save file window opens.
    3. Save the license request file to any location.
  2. Submit the license request file through the NI Service Request Manager.
    NI sends a license file to you.
  3. Save the license file on a PXI controller.
  4. Launch PAtools PCU Configuration.
  5. Click Tools » License Manager.
    The License Manager window opens.
  6. Click Upload License Update and upload the license.
  7. Click Create Acknowledgment.
    PAtools PCU Configuration creates a confirmation file indicating that you successfully uploaded the license file.
  8. Save the confirmation file to any location.
  9. Send the confirmation file to NI through the NI Service Request Manager.
