To update the configuration of the PXI, connect to the test station that includes the PXI.

  1. Launch PAtools PCU Configuration.
  2. Select or enter the test station information.

    Connect using the test station name In the Select a test station to connect menu, select the select the desired test station.
    Connect using the IP address of the test station In the Enter IP address or hostname to connect field, enter the IP address of the desired test station.
  3. Press Enter.
If you cannot connect to the PXI controller, verify the following settings in PAtools PCU Configuration:
  • Tools » Timeout(s) for connection attempts: if network response times are too high, increase the timeout for the connection setup.
  • Tools » Use default proxy settings: verify that there are no network problems or communication problems. If your PXI controller uses the automatic settings for your local network, the Use default proxy settings option is not applicable. Deactivate the option if you configured a proxy server for the local network.
