Organizational Data and Container
All measured data that are recorded cyclically or once in a single-shot measurement are stored in containers.
Contents of a Container
These containers hold additionally to the measured data all information about organizational data such as test bench, DUT, etc.
Which organizational data are stored can be configured individually:
- Data can be defined as mandatory or optional.
- Data can be defined as editable or read-only.
States of a Container
A container must be open for recording before a measurement starts. If no container is present it must be created before it can be opened. It can be closed when a test run has ended or whenever this is useful. Obsolete containers can be deleted.
Location of a Container
The containers are stored in subdirectories of the results file directory of the current runtime system on the PCU. The name is created due to a pattern that depends on the individual configuration. A frequently used pattern is for example:\\<host>\patools\erg<X>\<test bench name>_<date>_<no>
