Moving a Wire

Complete the following steps to disconnect a wire and move it to another location in your schematic:
- Place your cursor at the point where you wish to disconnect the wire. The cursor changes to an “x” with two parallel lines, as shown in the figure below (1).

- Click once. The cursor changes to a crosshair.
- Move the cursor to the pin where you wish to reconnect the wire and click once. The wire is now connected to the new location.
You can create a floating (unconnected) junction and reconnect the wire you are moving to that junction by double-clicking on a blank space on the schematic.
