You can add, rename, and delete bus lines from a placed bus.

Complete the following steps to add bus lines to a bus:

  1. Double-click on a placed bus to display the Bus Properties dialog box.
  2. Select the Bus lines tab.
  3. Click Add to display the Add Bus Lines dialog box.
  4. If you wish to add a single bus line to the selected bus, select Add a bus line and enter the Name.

    Or

    If you wish to add a number of bus lines, select Add bus vector and enter information in the following fields as desired:

    • Prefix—The prefix for the entered bus lines, for example “Out”.
    • Start value—The number from which the bus lines will start numbering, for example, “0”.
    • Increment by—The size of the the step between each number, for example, “1”.
    • Number—The total number of bus lines to add, for example, “4”.
  5. Click OK.

    The Add Bus Lines dialog box disappears, and the Bus Properties dialog box appears with the added bus lines appearing in the Bus lines tab.

Complete the following steps to delete bus lines from a bus:

  1. Double-click on a placed bus to display the Bus Properties dialog box.
  2. Select the Bus lines tab.
  3. Select the desired bus(es) in the Bus Line column and click Delete.

Complete the following steps to rename bus lines in a bus:

  1. Double-click on a placed bus to display the Bus Properties dialog box.
  2. Select the Bus lines tab.
  3. Select the desired bus in the Bus Line column and click Rename. The Rename Bus Line dialog box appears.
  4. Enter the desired name in the New name field and click OK.
