Complete the following steps to create a three-phase AC motor model:

  1. From the Model tab of the Component Properties dialog box, click Add/Edit. The Select a Model dialog box appears.
  2. Click Start model maker. The Select Model Maker dialog box appears.
  3. From the Model makers list, select AC Motor and click Accept. The 3 Phase AC Motor dialog box appears.
  4. Change the following as desired:
    • Number of poles (NP)
    • Rated voltage (V)
    • Stator inductance (Ls)
    • Stator resistance (Rs)
    • Mutual inductance (M)
    • Rotor inductance (Lr)
    • Rotor resistance (Rr)
    • Rotor moment of inertia (Jm)
    • Rotor drag (Bm)
    • Rotor friction (Wm)
