This file contains important information about the FRC Game Tools 2020.


Overview

FRC Game Tools is a software bundle that includes the FRC Driver Station and FRC Utilities. These components are required for FRC teams to configure and control robots and communicate with the field. The bundle also includes optional LabVIEW APIs for FRC teams using the LabVIEW programming language. FRC Game Tools is a required installation for all FRC participants.

System Requirements

FRC Game Tools 2020 has the following minimum requirements:

  • Windows 10/8.1/7 SP1

Installation Instructions

Follow the steps on ni.com/frc to install the FRC Game Tools 2020.

NOTE: If you will use LabVIEW to program your robot, you must install LabVIEW Software for FRC 2020 before installing FRC Game Tools 2020.

After installation you must run NI License Manager to activate the Vision Development Module Runtime Engine using the Serial Number provided in the FIRST Team Registration System. If you installed and activated the LabVIEW Software for FRC 2020 prior to this update, then the Vision Development Module Runtime Engine license will already be activated.
