NI-TimeSync helps you install, configure, and monitor synchronization on your embedded PXI targets.
NI-TimeSync is driver software that communicates and synchronizes with modules in a PXI system. You can use this software with the PXI Synchronization Module to synchronize PXI Controllers running the LabVIEW Real-Time Module. The software can synchronize PXI Controllers with the date and time from the LabVIEW Real-Time Module and includes an API based on interacting with the system time. Additionally, NI-TimeSync includes LabVIEW examples that demonstrate methods of working with synchronized absolute time to coordinate multiple real-time targets or PXI Chassis. NI-TimeSync supports general-purpose and real-time operating systems including Windows, Windows Server, NI Linux Real-Time, VxWorks, and PharLap ETS. The registered trademark Linux® is used pursuant to a sublicense from LMI, the exclusive licensee of Linus Torvalds, owner of the mark on a worldwide basis.
