How to Access the Nigel™ AI Advisor

To use Nigel AI Advisor, you’ll need either LabVIEW Professional Development System or TestStand Development System installed and activated.

1. Visit the NI downloads page.
2. Search for LabVIEW Professional or TestStand Development.
3. Download the installer for 2025 Q3 and run it.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
5. Launch the software and sign in with your NI User Account to activate your license.

Note: The Nigel AI Advisor is only available in 2025 Q3 versions of software and later.

To access Nigel, you need to link an existing serial number that has active software service benefits to your NI User Account.

1. Log in to your NI User Account.
2. Navigate to View My Products under the Products and Services section.
3. Enter the serial number you have that activates LabVIEW Professional or TestStand Development in the text field and click Register. 

Note: This serial number may be a single-seat license, a product suite or bundle, or a serial number from a multiseat agreement, like a Volume License Agreement or Enterprise Agreement.

You should see the entitlement for your software service appear in My Products list within 24 hours.

Locating Your Serial Number

You’ll need your serial number to activate Nigel. If you don’t have it, here’s where you can find it:

• Email Confirmation—Check your email inbox for a purchase confirmation email from NI.
• NI Volume License Manager (VLM)—If you're using a managed license, your administrator can provide the serial number.
• NI Software—If your software is already activated, you can open NI License Manager to find the appropriate serial number that will have service benefits associated with it.

Nigel uses Auth0 for secure authentication.

1. Open the Nigel AI Advisor application.
2. Click Log in. You will be redirected to the Auth0 log-in page.
3. Sign in using your NI User Account credentials. 
4. If prompted, authorize access to your NI services.

Security Note: Auth0 ensures your credentials are protected with industry-standard encryption and authentication protocols. 

After you log in, you’ll have full access to the Nigel AI Advisor’s features. If you run into any issues, refer to the NI Support site or contact your NI representative.
