Calibration Expertise, Wherever You Are

Calibration and Repair Service Center

Our Calibration and Repair Service Centers are in-house-operated facilities located around the world to support Hardware Services. These centers provide full-service capabilities, including multiple levels of calibration, hardware repairs, technical support, and access to spare parts inventory. Our employees operate to the highest NI standards to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance.

Certified Calibration Centers

Certified Calibration Centers are independent facilities accredited and certified by NI to perform calibration services on our behalf. These centers meet the same quality, service experience, and compliance standards as our in-house Calibration and Repair Service Centers but focus exclusively on delivering calibration services. Our partners expand your accessibility and convenience by offering trusted local options that make calibration faster and easier.

Calibration Delivery Methods

We offer calibration service levels designed to meet diverse needs across various industries and manufacturing environments. These services are available through multiple delivery methods—including on-site calibration, in-lab services at our facilities, and calibrated replacements—providing flexibility based on your preferences and operational requirements. Turnaround times vary depending on the selected service, ranging from expedited service to standard multi-day processing, ensuring you can balance speed, cost, and convenience according to your priorities.

Standard Depot Calibration

The equipment is shipped to our facilities for calibration. After the service is completed, we ship the equipment back to the customer’s address. Estimated service time varies from 5 to 15 business days, depending on the calibration level and the hardware model.

Expedited Depot Calibration

The equipment is shipped to our facilities for calibration but with a shorter service time of 3 business days. This method is available only for Traceable Calibration level and is limited to 10 devices per occurrence. Exclusions might apply to some hardware models.

On-Site Calibration

The calibration is performed at the customer location by a certified calibration technician. This method is ideal for customers that intend to calibrate a large amount of NI hardware all at one time and want to minimize downtime. On-site calibration is considered a high-complexity event that requires planning and scheduling.

Calibrated Replacement

We ship a calibrated unit equivalent to the unit under coverage. After the customer receives the unit, they exchange the unit and send the previously installed unit back to our facilities. This service is available only for Application Systems or under a Hardware Service Agreement.
