PXIe, 2.53 GHz Dual-Core Processor PXI Embedded Controller—The PXIe-8108 is a Intel Core 2 Duo embedded controller for PXI and CompactPCI systems. It is used for modular instrumentation and DAQ applications. The PXIe-8108 includes 10/100/1000BASE-TX (Gigabit) Ethernet and two Hi-Speed USB ports, as well as an integrated hard drive, serial port, and other peripheral I/O.
