When you pair the NI‑5781 with a PXI FPGA Module for FlexRIO, the resulting NI‑5781R is an FPGA-enabled reconfigurable I/O (RIO) baseband transceiver that you can use to implement custom RF modulation and demodulation, channel emulation, bit error rate testing, or spectral monitoring and jamming.
