Get Information Operation (IVI Switching Mode)

The Get Information operation in IVI Switching mode retrieves low-level status and information from the instrument. You can also use the Get Information operation to acquire switch information and channel information. You must specify an expression that contains a variable or property to which the step assigns the retrieved value.

The Edit IVI Switch Step dialog box for the Get Information operation in IVI Switching mode contains the following tabs:

• Switch Info Tab —Specifies which information to retrieve from the switch module.
• Channel Info Tab —Specifies which channel information to retrieve from the switch module.
