Registering DataPlugins to Index and Process New File Types

Register a DataPlugin so that DataFinder instances can index files with the related extensions and Data Preprocessor instances can scan and process files with the related extensions.

  1. In DataPlugins, click Add.
  2. Enable Overwrite existing DataPlugins to overwrite an existing DataPlugin with the same name.
  3. Click Browse and select the DataPlugin. DataPlugins have the file extension .uri.
  4. Click Open and then OK to add the selected DataPlugin.
