Exporting a Database

Export a DBC or LDF database as a FIBEX database file.

The database you want to export must first be loaded in the NI-XNET Database Editor.
When you export a database, only features that XNET sessions use to communicate on the network are saved to the file. If the original file was created using software other than NI-XNET, the target file may be missing details from the original file.
  1. Select File » Export as FIBEX.
    The Export to FIBEX file dialog opens.
  2. Provide a file name and use the dialog to browse to the location on your system where you want to save the database file.
  3. Click Save.
