Making Glyphs Available in the Icon Editor
A glyph is a small, reusable image that you can use as a component in multiple icons. Save images to the right directory to surface them as glyphs in the Icon Editor and synchronize glyphs with ni.com.
Use the Icon Editor to create glyphs or add glyphs to an icon. The Glyphs tab of the Icon Editor displays all .png, .bmp, and .jpg files that are present in the LabVIEW Data\Glyphs directory.
By default, the Glyphs page includes all glyphs from the Icon Library at ni.com.
To make glyphs available in the Icon Editor, complete the following steps.
-
Open the Icon Editor:
- Double-click the icon in the upper right corner of the front panel window, block diagram window, or Control Editor.
- Right-click the icon and select Edit Icon....
-
Based on your objective, do the following.
