Compatibility with External Compilers

LabWindows/CVI can be compatible at the object code level with files of the Common Object File Format (COFF), such as object files generated by Microsoft Visual C/C++ 6.0 and later. You can use this compatibility to build a project you create in LabWindows/CVI in an external compiler.

Note  To compile code within the LabWindows/CVI environment using an external compiler, specify the compiler in the Active 32-bit compiler or Active 64-bit compiler option in the Build Options dialog box.
