The Messages instrument provides the same functionality as the messages window, but you can place it on a dashboard.

Because you can place the Messages instrument on a dashboard, you can define a title and size constraints when the test is created.

Use the Properties dialog to define the minimum, maximum, or absolute size of messages and assign a suitable title.
