Use the Event structure shortcut menu to add a new event case or duplicate an existing event case. Use the Edit Events dialog box to define the events handled by the new event case.

Complete the following steps to add or duplicate an event case.

  1. Right-click the Event structure border.
  2. Select Add Event Case or Duplicate Event Case from the shortcut menu. The Edit Events dialog box appears.
  3. Edit the event case.

When you duplicate an event case, LabVIEW does not duplicate the events you configured for that case. You must configure the new case to handle an event. If you configure multiple cases to handle the same event, the VI appears broken.
